LOGAN TOWNSHIP, N.J. – The Cedar Crest College cross country team took third place at the Bill Fritz College Open at DREAM Park on Friday evening.

Junior Giada Smith (Springtown, Pa./Palisades) paced the Falcons, crossing the finish line 15^th in a time of 18:02.0.

First-years Alicia Cruz (Easton, Pa./Wilson Area) and Carly Dachenhausen (Quakertown, Pa./Quakertown Community) finished 17^th (19:33.6) and 18^th (19.38.1), respectively.

Senior Emily Matoushek (Waymart, Pa./Forest City Regional) completed the four-kilometer course in 21:04.3, which put her 22^nd. Junior Abby Adams (Suffolk, Va./Lakeland) was the final runner for Cedar Crest, placing 27^th (23:08.8).

Cedar Crest returns to action at the DeSales University Invitational on Saturday, September 19 at 11:20 a.m.
