Cedar Crest College Athletics

2013 Junior:  Finished second on the team in batting, finishing with a .388 average.  Started all 24 regular season games finishing with three doubles, two triples and three homeruns for 16 RBI’s.  Finished first on the team in On-Base-Percentage with .488.  Also scored 15 runs.

2012 Sophomore:  Finished first on the team in batting with a .454 average.  Started 37 regular season games finishing with 14 doubles, three triples and five homeruns for 39 RBI’s.  Finished first on the team in Slugging-Percentage with .748.  Also scored 32 runs.

2011 Freshman:  Finished first on the team in batting with a .402 average.  Started 32 regular season games finishing with 11 doubles, one triple and three homeruns for 18 RBI’s.  Finished first on the team in Slugging-Percentage with .655.  Also scored 26 runs.

High School: Attended MMI Preparatory in Freeland, PA.  Participated in Softball and   Volleyball at the varsity level.  Athletic honors include being voted captain and an MVP award.  Academic honors include honor roll and making the deans list.

Personal:  Shannon is the daughter of Willy Wenner and has played softball every year for Cedar Crest College.  Shannon was voted MVP in 2012 and also was named First Team All-Conference in 2012 and Second Team All-Conference in 2011.
