Before Cedar Crest: Attended Northern Lehigh High School...Graduated in 2022….Was a consistent Honor Roll student…Was a varsity starter all four years for field hockey...Served as captain of the varsity squad in her sophomore and senior years….Awarded the Outstanding Player of the Year award in her junior and senior years…Earned Honorable Mention for the Lehigh Valley All-Area Field Hockey Team during senior year…Colonial League qualifier and District XI qualifier for Track & Field in junior and senior years…Served as captain of her travel squad for Marojoka Hockey Club for her sophomore, junior and senior years.

Personal: Daughter of Bryan and Amy Horninger...Mother is a CCC alumna, Class of 1998...Born outside of Seoul, S. Korea and have been living in the Lehigh Valley since she was an infant...Has one older brother, who attends DeSales University...Has one dog, a Shih-tzu named Stella and will be getting one more puppy to add to our family in a few weeks, another Shih-tzu...Chose Cedar Crest because she wanted to stay local and the college has an excellent reputation for their education and sports programs. Her mom was also super happy that she chose CCC because she graduated from here as well.

Why wrestling at Cedar Crest College: The atmosphere is amazing. It’s a very supportive group of people and the coaching staff is phenomenal. 
Favorite wrestling moment from 2022-2023: Competing in my first-ever wrestling match. 
2023-2024 Goal: Go in strong, work hard, be dedicated, and work for wins.

Most enjoyable part of wrestling practice: Working with my teammates, pushing each other to do our best. We are very supportive of each other during every drill and new move, while still having fun with our teammates and coaches.
