Hackettstown, NJ
The Falcons did their best to keep pace with the CSAC playoff hunt this afternoon in Hackettstown, NJ in a Tri-Match with CSAC rivals Centenary College and the Notre Dame University of Maryland. Â
In match one the Falcons took to the court against the Cyclones and would take an easy win, winning in three straight sets (25-14, 30-28, 25-16).
For the Falcons senior
Rebecca Grady (Silver Spring, MD/Paint Branch) finished with a team high 15 kills while junior
Ericka Clayton (Zionsville, PA/Allentown Central Catholic) finished with 10. Â
Celina Danish (Allentown, PA/Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts) would add 26 assists to bring her career total to over 800. Â Freshman
Kaylee Martinez (Hemet, CA/West Valley) would finish with 12 digs in match one, while Clayton would add 17.
In match two, the Falcons would fight for each set, but would fall in three (25-23, 25-21, 25-17).Â
Grady led the Falcons in match two with nine kills while freshman Molley Schnauvbelt would add five. Â Sophomore
Maggie Olock (Bethlehem, PA/Liberty High School) would contribute 10 digs while Clayton would finish match two with 13.
With the split, the Falcons are now 3-18 overall but sit at 3-5 in the CSAC. Â Their next match will be on the 21st when they travel to Lehigh Valley rival Moravian College.
