ALLENTOWN, Pa.---The Cedar Crest College volleyball team dropped a hard fought match, 3-0, against Colonial States Athletic Conference opponent Keystone College. The Falcons showed lots of energy matching points in the beginning of each set.
"Another good performance from my girls," stated Head Coach Shelby Morgan. "Every game they show improvement. Keystone has talented players but the team definitely showed commitment to the game today."
Junior setter Celina Danish (Allentown, PA/Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts) paced the Falcons with 10 assists, one kill, one service ace and seven digs. Senior outside hitter Ericka Clayton (Zionsville, PA/Allentown Central Catholic) had a team-high of seven kills, two assists, one service ace and 13 digs while sophomore outside hitter Molly Schnaubelt (San Diego, CA/University City) had five kills, one assist, and three digs.
Junior opposite hitter Maggie Olock (Bethlehem, PA/Liberty High School) had four kills, one assist, and eight digs as sophomore defensive specialist Kaylee Martinez (Hemet, CA/West Valley) had a team-high of 18 digs, one service ace and two assists. Senior defensive specialist Kimlynn Tran () had one assist and four digs on the afternoon.
The Falcons take on their next CSAC opponent on Thursday, October 22 at 7:00 p.m. against Immactulata University.
