The Falcons Lacrosse Team fell to fellow CSAC Competitor Neumann University this afternoon in their first conference game of the season, setting their conference record at 0-1 and dropping their overall record to 0-2.
Leading the Falcons offense were Juniors,
Vivianna Samite (Oakridge, NJ/Jefferson Twp) and
Emily Rodenberger (Pennsburg, PA/Upper Perkiomen High School), each contributing two goals while
Regina Gill (Hellertown, PA/Saucon Valley High School) would take advantage of a free position and convert a goal on two shots. Â
Senior
Kim Barry (Greentown, PA/Wallenpaupack Area) and Rodenberger led the defensive line by drawing turnovers from the knights. Junior,
Nicole Rivera (Bronx, NY/Eximius High School), put forth her best effort to block the goal, recording 15 saves against their relentless opponents.
As a team, the Falcons finsihed with 14 groundballs and six draw controls. Â The team will return to play CSAC team Rosement College this Saturday at 4pm on Neutral Territory at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA.
