The Cedar Crest College lacrosse came into today's game looking to turn things around, but the Cavs of Cabrini had other plans for the Falcons.
Coming into today's Colonial States Athletic Conference Women's Lacrosse Cabrini sat at 3-0 while the Falcons sat at 0-2. Â The Cavs looking to stay undefeated while the Falcons were looking for their first win.
In the first half, junior
Emily Rodenberger (Pennsburg, PA/Upper Perkiomen High School) would find the back of the net for her 10th goal of the season, finishing with four shots and two groundballs. Â Rodenberger would also add one draw control. Â
Other players finishing with multiple groundballs in today's contest included
Vivianna Samite (Oakridge, NJ/Jefferson Twp),
Chelsea Thompson (Coatesville, PA/Collegium Charter School), Nicole RIvera,
Nalani Velasquez (Howell, NJ/Howell) and
DeJanet Lantion (Silver Spring, MD/John F. Kennedy).
In goal, Nicole RIvera would finish with 16 saves in the loss. Â
With the loss, the Falcons fall to 0-4 and 0-3 in the CSAC.
