Wilkes-Barre, PA

The Cedar Crest College lacrosse team took to the road in a non-conference showdown with the Colonels of Wilkes University this evening in Schmidt Stadium in Wilkes-Barre, PA.

Individually for the Falcons, Emily Rodenberger (Pennsburg, PA/Upper Perkiomen High School) continued her consecutive scoring streak collecting her 11th goal of the 2015 season.  DeJanet Lantion (Silver Spring, MD/John F. Kennedy) led all Falcons in groundballs with three, while Rebecca Grady (Silver Spring, MD/Paint Branch), Nicole Rivera (Bronx, NY/Eximius High School), and Rodenberger each collected two.  Nalani Velasquez (Howell, NJ/Howell) would round out the evening with one groundball.  Lantion would also finish with three caused turnovers for the Falcons.

As for the game, the Falcons would run into stiff competition in Wilkes falling 18-1.  

The Falcons now sit at 0-5 overall and will return to action later this week when they travel to CSAC foe Gwynedd-Mercy.
