Four Players Score, Falcons Fall to Gators

Allentown, PA

Looking to make it two in a row, the Cedar Crest College lacrosse team hosted the Notre Dame of Maryland University Gators in Colonial States Athletic Conference women's lacrosse action this afternoon at Cedar Crest College.

In the first half, senior Kim Barry (Greentown, PA/Wallenpaupack Area) would get the Falcons on the board with a scoop goal in front of the goal to claim her fourth goal of the 2015 season.  Junior Vivianna Samite (Oakridge, NJ/Jefferson Twp) would then knotch goals 16 and 17 within three minutes of each other to keep the Falcons in the hunt.  After a Gator goal, Regina Gill (Hellertown, PA/Saucon Valley High School) would score her first of two first half goals to being the Falcons within two trailing just 6-4.  Notre Dame would then go on a scoring run collecting four goals before Gill would add her second first half goal to push the score to 10-5.  Notre Dame (MD) would collect two more goals before the buzzer would sound at half with the Falcons trailing 12-5.

In the second half, once again Kim Barry (Greentown, PA/Wallenpaupack Area) would get the Falcons on the board early for her second goal of the day.  Throughout the remainder of the second half, Regina Gill (Hellertown, PA/Saucon Valley High School) would collect two more goal to finish with four on the day while Emily Rodenberger (Pennsburg, PA/Upper Perkiomen High School) and classmate Vivianna Samite (Oakridge, NJ/Jefferson Twp) would add a goal a piece with Samite scoring to close out the game with her 18th goal of the season.
