Box Score DOYELSTOWN, Pa.--- The Cedar Crest College volleyball team earned its first win of the season against non-conference Delaware Valley University 3-1 after bouncing back from a first set loss. They won with scores of 25-21, 25-16, 27-25 and 25-23.
"I am very happy with the out come of tonight," commented Head Coach
Shelby Morgan. "I feel that this will set us up nicely for our upcoming games. The girls really showed their ability to play tonight. I was happy with the improvements we have made with our serve receive and offense. Ericka had a stong offensive day with help from Celina. I am over all pleased with the win tonight."
Leading the Falcons on the attack was senior outside hitter
Ericka Clayton (Zionsville, PA/Allentown Central Catholic) who had 10 kills, two assists, two service aces and 17 digs. Sophomore outside hitter
Molly Schnaubelt (San Diego, CA/University City) contributed nine kills, two assists, two service aces, one block and six digs. Junior opposite hitter
Maggie Olock (Bethlehem, PA/Liberty High School) added seven kills, one assist, a team high five service aces and 16 digs.

Celina Danish (Allentown, PA/Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts) paced the Falcons with 24 assists, adding three kills and five digs. Sophomore defensive specialist
Kaylee Martinez (Hemet, CA/West Valley) had four kills, four assists, four service aces and 11 digs. Senior defensive specialist
Kimlynn Tran () posted three kills, one service ace, one block and 14 digs.
The volleyball team has its next competition on Saturday, September 19 in Baltimore, Md. as they head to Goucher College for a tri-match with host Goucher and Wesley College.
