ROSEMONT, Pa. --- The Cedar Crest College Volleyball team took down Rosemont College in straight sets, 3-0, in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action on Saturday afternoon to close the regular season.

The Falcons finish the regular season with a 14-9 overall record and a conference record of 8-1, officially clinching the 2-seed in the CSAC Volleyball Playoffs.

The first set had the Falcons and Ravens within three-points early in the set, but the Black and Yellow put together a seven-point run that aided them in taking the first set 25-13. Cedar Crest rolled through the second set, with their longest run being nine straight points to take a 24-10 lead. The Ravens battled back and tallied nine-consecutive points of their own before the Falcons claimed set two, 25-19. The third and final set was in favor of the Falcons as well, as they finished off Rosemont 25-13 for the three-set victory.

Cedar Crest totaled 54 points in the match, coming off of 32 kills, 28 assists, 18 service aces, four blocks and recorded 50 digs. Leading the team in kills and blocks was Senior
Nicole Hill (Parsippany, NJ/Parsippany), who contributed eight kills and two blocks. Sophomore
Madison Flatt (Reinholds, Pa./Cocalico) recorded a double-double, with team-highs in assists with 15 and service aces with seven. Co-leading the Falcons in kills was freshman
Kayla Yasso (Blandon, Pa./Fleetwood), who down eight attacks for kills, added three aces and a block. Also in double-digits in assists was sophomore
Talia Watson (Harleysville, Pa./Souderton), contributing 11 assists in her first match back since the beginning of September. Junior
Tiffany Hoppes (Macungie, Pa./Emmaus) rounds out the Falcons who were in double-digits, as she led the squad with 18 digs in the victory.

With the Falcons clinching the 2-seed in the CSAC Playoffs, Cedar Crest will host a semifinal match on Thursday, November 7, hosting the 3-seed Wilson College. A time is to be determined, but stay tuned to cedarcrestathletics.com for all of the information you need.
