BALTIMORE, Md. --- The Cedar Crest College lacrosse squad dropped a Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) contest to Notre Dame of Maryland University, 19-1, on Saturday afternoon. The Falcons fall to (0-4) overall and in the CSAC, as the Gators improved to (5-0) overall and in conference action.

Notre Dame would hold the Black and Yellow scoreless in the first half, scoring 14 times before the first half would come to an end. Cedar Crest would get on the board with a goal in the 47th minute, but that would be all they could muster, as the Falcons lost 19-1 on the road.

Senior Rhica-May Austin (Franklin, NJ/North Brunswick Township) scored in her third-straight game, scoring an unassisted goal in second half. Austin added two ground balls, two draw controls, and had a caused turnover on the day. Sophomore Alexandra Infante (Stowe, Vt./Stowe High) picked up three ground balls for the Black and Yellow, as freshman Kayleigh Woomer (Gales Ferry, Conn./Ledyard) led the team with three caused turnovers and scooped up a pair of ground balls. Sophomore Kailyn Jones (Weatherly, Pa./Weatherly) and freshman Emily Schoelier (Newton, N.J./Sussex County Technical) each took a shot on goal in the contest, with Jones causing two turnovers and earning a ground ball as Schoelier had one caused turnover.

Senior Allison Churchill (West Deptford, N.J./West Deptford) made the start in net for the Falcons, making double-digit saves for the third time this season. Churchill recorded 10 saves, for the second consecutive game, on 29 shots on goal. She also picked up three ground balls. Churchill received the loss in the decision, putting her record at (0-4) on the year.

Overall, Cedar Crest grabbed 12 ground balls, won three draw controls, and caused nine turnovers. The Falcons also went 4-12 on clear attempts.
