BRYN ATHYN, Pa. – The Cedar Crest College lacrosse team lost to Bryn Athyn College, 20-1, on General Ronald K. Nelson Field on Saturday afternoon in a Colonial States Athletic Conference matchup. The win moves the Lions to 7-2 overall and 4-2 in the CSAC while the Falcons slip to 1-7 overall and 0-4 in league play.
Bryn Athyn would get out to a 5-1 lead after the first quarter. The Lions started the scoring with one apiece from freshman Shea Gormley (Huntingdon Valley, Pa.) and senior Payton Gormley (Huntingdon Valley, Pa.). Senior 
Madyson Lagano (Elkton, Md./North East) netted the lone goal for Cedar Crest with 9:08 left in the opening stanza. The assist went to junior 
Kailyn Jones (Weatherly, Pa./Weatherly). Bryn Athyn followed with three more in the quarter and then tallied eight in the second to carry a 13-1 advantage into the half.
The Lions then outscored the Falcons 7-0 over the last two quarters for the 20-1 final.
The Falcons tallied 14 ground balls in the contest with Jones and freshman 
Lauren Jackson (Ambler, Pa./Wissahickon) tallying two each. Seven other Cedar Crest players had one ground ball: sophomore

Mira Carver (Lebanon, N.J./North Hunterdon) led the caused turnover category with four. Heathcott and Large followed with two each while Lagano and Rifino registered one apiece.
The Falcons also had 10 draw controls in the contest. Heathcott paced Cedar Crest with three. Graham came in behind with two while Lagano, sophomore 
Kayleigh Woomer (Gales Ferry, Conn./Ledyard), and DeNight closed the stat line with one each.
Getting the start in goal for Cedar Crest was Carver, who recorded nine saves in the contest.
Cedar Crest will next travel to Centenary University on Monday, April 25 for a conference tilt beginning at 5:00 p.m.
