The Falcons got out to a 6-2 lead in the first set after an attack error to finish off a 4-0 run. After the Ravens scored a point to stop the run, Cedar Crest strung together six straight points to go up 12-3, finished off by a kill from senior
Maddison Minyo (Covington, Pa./North Penn-Mansfield). Rosemont climbed back into the set and cut the deficit to two, 20-18, following an attack error by the Falcons. The visitors were able to hold off the Ravens with a 5-2 run to close the frame and win the opening set 25-20.
After the Ravens went up 4-2 in the second stanza, Cedar Crest scored five straight points to make the score 7-4 in favor of the Falcons. Later in the frame, with the score tied at nine, Cedar Crest went on a 6-1 spurt to make the score, 15-10. In the latter stages of the set, with the score 18-16 in favor of the Falcons, Cedar Crest finished on a 7-2 run to capture the second set, 25-18.
The Falcons doubled up the Ravens, 10-5, in the early going, which was then answered by five straight points by Rosemont to knot the stanza at 10. Later in the set, Cedar Crest embarked on a 9-1 run, capped off by a kill from junior
Alexis Cummins (Stafford, Va./Colonial Forge) to push the score to 21-12. The Falcons outscored the Ravens 4-3 in the remainer of the set to win 25-15 and take the match in straight sets.

Ava Grapsy (Macungie, Pa./Allentown Central Catholic) led Cedar Crest with 10 kills, 14 assists, two service aces, and four digs. Minyo finished with eight kills, 15 digs, one service ace, and one assist. Senior
Ziah Melton (Allentown, Pa./William Allen) had six kills, four assists, two blocks, and four digs. First-year
Nikki Blair (Bridgewater, N.J./Bridgewater-Raritan) dished out a team-high 17 assists while Sanchez-Castro registered 13 digs, including her 1,000
th in her career.
Cedar Crest (13-8 overall, 8-0 United East Conference-Skye Division) concludes the regular season at Saint Elizabeth University on Tuesday, October 31 at 7:00 p.m. Rosemont (3-14 overall, 3-5 United East Conference-Skye Division) travels to Notre Dame of Maryland University for its regular season finale on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.
