ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The Cedar Crest College wrestling team swept its first-ever home match, defeating Felician University, 30-20, and then topping Alvernia University by a score of 28-19 on Wednesday night at Lees Gymnasium.
"Absolute team effort tonight," said Head Wrestling Coach
Alex Depew. "We were a little flat against Felician. They are a well-coached team. They were prepared. We didn't win some of the matches we should've there, but came out on top as far as the dual was concerned. Alvernia has a tough roster and our kids just performed. It was a total team effort, the fans were great, we have a great coaching staff and we're very excited about the future."
