LATHAM, N.Y. – Sophomore
Kylie Mastillo (Moscow, Pa./North Pocono) of the Cedar Crest College softball team has been recognized as a Third Team All-Conference selection by the United East Conference, as announced by the league office on Tuesday morning.
Mastillo played in and started 38 games for the Falcons, tallying a .468 batting average to go along with 52 hits, eight doubles, eight triples, five home runs, 34 RBI, 91 total bases, and 34 runs scored. She held an on-base percentage of .512 and a slugging percentage of .820 for an OPS of 1.332. Mastillo was a perfect 13-for-13 on stolen bases and registered a .917 fielding percentage.
Mastillo ranked near the top of the conference in several categories. She led the league in slugging percentage and OPS, third in triples and home runs, fifth in on-base percentage, seventh in batting average, ninth in RBI's, 11
th in runs scored and hits, and 13
th in stolen bases.
Mastillo and Cedar Crest (17-22 overall, 6-10 United East) qualified for the United East Conference Championship Tournament and advanced to the Second Round.
