ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Estefanía Martínez-Solá has been named as the next Head Volleyball Coach, as announced by Director of Athletics Christy Malone Fleagle on Tuesday.

"We are thrilled to welcome Estefania to Cedar Crest College as our next Head Volleyball Coach," said Fleagle. "She brings a clear and thoughtful vision for the program, along with a strong background that will elevate Cedar Crest volleyball to the next level. Beyond her Division III experience as both a former student-athlete and coach, Estefania stands out for her professionalism, organization, and the genuine way she connects with people. She leads with confidence, warmth, and purpose, and consistently demonstrates integrity, enthusiasm, and a deep commitment to student-athlete development. Her energy, drive, and positive leadership style will make an immediate impact, and we are excited to watch her lead and grow our volleyball program moving forward."

Martínez-Solá arrives in Allentown following a two-year stint as a graduate assistant coach for the DeSales University women's volleyball team. During her time in Center Valley, she helped the Bulldogs to 30-32 record including a 10-4 mark in the MAC Freedom, including two MAC Freedom Tournament berths. Martínez-Solá helped mentor five All-Conference selections and one AVCA Honorable Mention All-Region honoree.

"I want to begin by sincerely thanking Director of Athletics Christy Malone Feagle and the entire search committee for this opportunity," said Martínez-Solá. "I'm truly honored and excited to be named the next Head Volleyball Coach at Cedar Crest College. Being named the Head Volleyball Coach at Cedar Crest is something I'm incredibly grateful for, especially as my first opportunity leading a program. It means a lot to be trusted with this role, and I see it as a chance to invest in our student-athletes, help them develop as competitors and as people, and build a program that reflects hard work, pride, and purpose. I'm excited to bring energy and commitment every day as we grow this program together."

In her collegiate playing career at Arcadia University, Martínez-Solá was a team captain and received many conference accolades, including becoming the first player in program history to receive the MAC Freedom Player of the Year award in the 2022 season. She also received AVCA All-region honors and became the second player in program history to receive All-American recognition in the 2022 season. In Martínez-Solá's three-year career, she had a total of 1,554 assists, 451 kills, and 818 digs.

Martínez-Solá graduated cum laude from Arcadia with a degree in Psychology. She then obtained a Master's in Higher Education with a concentration in Student Affairs Administration at DeSales University.

Martínez-Solá inherits a Cedar Crest College volleyball program that went 6-23 overall (4-6 United East) in 2025 and qualified for the United East Conference Championship Tournament and advanced to the quarterfinals.
