Allentown, PA - In windy, cloudy conditions on Friday, Cedar Crest finally got in a previously-postponed match against Colonial States Athletic Conference opponent Philadelphia Biblical University. Unfortunately, the Crimson Eagles prevailed over the Falcons by a score of 7-2.
For Cedar Crest, only junior Jenny Clay (Kempton, PA, Kutztown Area) had the hot hand, putting up the only singles win, a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Elizabeth Stafford at No. 3 singles, and being part of the only doubles win with partner Cassandra Bejar (Allentown, PA, William Allen), an 8-4 victory over Hannah Maddox and Tara Munro at No. 2 doubles.
Cedar Crest is still winless on the season and on Saturday, October 15th, will travel to Keystone College for a CSAC match at 1:00 PM. PBU improves to 8-6, 4-5 in the conference.
