Allentown, PA - The Falcons were defeated at home on Wednesday by Colonial States Athletic Conference opponent Neumann University by a score of 7-2.

Freshman Rakia Otoo (Bronx, NY, Manhattan Center for Science & Math) had the hot hand today, scoring an 8-1 victory at No. 3 doubles with partner Maria Vincent (Georgetown, DE, Sussex Central)  and a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 5 singles for Cedar Crest's only points of the match. 

Cedar Crest is still winless after 11 matches and will next play non-conference opponent Penn State Berks on Friday, October 7th, at 3:30 PM. Neumann improves to 3-5 and 3-3 in the Conference.
