Allentown, PA - On Saturday, it was all Gwynedd-Mercy, all the time, as the defending Colonial States Athletic Conference Champion Griffins soundly defeated Cedar Crest at home by a score of 9-0.

In the singles competition, only freshman Rakia Otoo (Bronx, NY, Manhattan Center for Science & Math) provided any resistance in a 6-3, 6-1 loss to Chelsea Jones at No. 5 singles, and the No. 2 doubles team of Cassandra Bejar (Allentown, PA, William Allen) and Jenny Clay (Kempton, PA, Kutztown Area) put up a valiant effort in an 8-4 loss to Gabby Muller and Taylor Michener.

Cedar Crest is still winless on the season and will next host non-conference opponent Arcadia University on Thursday, October 13th, at 3:30 PM. Gwynedd-Mercy remains unbeaten at 11-0 overall and 8-0 in the Conference.
