Aston, PA - Cedar Crest was walloped with an 8-1 loss at Colonial States Athletic Conference opponent Neumann University on Wednesday.

Only Amy Frey (Hellertown, PA/Saucon Valley), who won at No. 1 singles by forfeit, prevented the shutout.

Cedar Crest drops to 1-1 overall and 1-1 in the CSAC, and Neumann improves to 1-2 and 1-1 in the CSAC. The Falcons will next play a conference match at Immaculata on Friday, September 14th, at 3:30 PM.
