Allentown, PA - Cedar Crest hosted the Mighty Macs of Immaculata University in a Colonial States Athletic Conference match on Friday, and were edged out for the win by a score of 5-4.
Cedar Crest took a 2-1 lead after the doubles competition, but could only manage a 3-3 tie in singles to lead to the loss. Amy Frey (Hellertown, PA/Saucon Valley), Jenny Clay (Kempton, PA/Kutztown Area), and Kyleen Sisson (Laceyville, PA/Elk Lake), at No. 1, 3 and 5 doubles respectively all recorded wins. Frey and Sisson lost at No. 2 doubles.
Cedar Crest drops to 1-2 on the season and 1-2 in the CSAC. Immaculata is 1-4 and 1-2 in the conference. The Falcons will look to get back on track at Cairn University on Saturday, September 15th, at 12:00 PM.
