With just two regular season matches left, the Cedar Crest College Falcons Tennis took to the road in search of their first playoff berth since 2010.

Needing one win in the last two matches, the Falcons and the Pacers of Marywood, who had already clinched the #2 seed in the CSAC Playoffs next week battled back and forth.

The Falcons would end up dropping 9-0.  In singles competition Amy Frey (Hellertown, PA/Saucon Valley) would fall 6-0, 6-1, Jamie Wojiechowski would fall 6-4, 6-2.  Kyleen Sisson (Laceyville, PA/Elk Lake), Rakia Otoo (Bronx, NY/Manhattan Center for Science & Math), Olga Cauble (Concord, NH/Concord) and Maria Vincent (Georgetown, DE/Sussex Central) would all also fall.

In doubles competition, all three Falcons doubles teams would also be on the wrong side of the score card.

The Falcons drop to 8-7 overall and 5-4 in the CSAC and will battle Immaculata for the final playoff spot tomorrow afternoon.
