It was senior day at Cedar Crest, as the women's tennis team honored their lone senior on this years squad, Amy Frey (Hellertown, PA/Saucon Valley).  Frey up to this point has accured a 4-7 singles record in the #1 position and a 5-6 doubles record in the #1 position.

Frey would take full advantage of the honor as she would win in the #1 singles position 6-1, 6-1.  Frey impressed head coach Lynn Piglicampi "She's a fighter, everyday she comes out and here and gives up 100%, we really can't ask for anything more, but she is always look to do more for this team, she's special and we are going to miss her next year".  Frey who played her last home match earlier today looked good on the court despite the hot conditions.

The rest of the squad, who were wearing pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, dominated the Highlanders.  Jamie WOjiechowski collected her second win in three matches winning 6-0, 6-3 in the # 2 singles position and would team with Frey to win in doubles.

Emily Bryk (Whitehall, PA/Whitehall) would fall behind early only to storm back and win in three sets 2-6, 6-1, 6-0.  Bryk would also team with Rakia Otoo (Bronx, NY/Manhattan Center for Science & Math) to win in the #2 doubles 8-0.  Otoo would also run her winning streak to three straight matches winning the #5 singles 6-4, 7-6, 7-2.

In the #3 doubles, the team of Kyleen Sisson (Laceyville, PA/Elk Lake) and Olga Cauble (Concord, NH/Concord), who are the jokesters of the court would also win easily and have fun doing it.  Cauble and Sisson would cruise to an 8-0 win in the #3 doubles and Sisson would pick up the win in three sets in the #4 doubles 2-6, 6-2, 6-1 while Cauble would follow suite winning 5-7, 6-4, 6-4.

The Falcons improve to 5-6 overall and an even 3-3 in the CSAC.  They will turn right around as they head to conference foe Rosemont College tomorrow morning as the match is scheduled to begin at 12:00 PM.
