Opening up their conference play, the Cedar Crest College Falcons traveled to Immaculata to take on the Mighty Macs.

Game one would see sophomore Ericka Clayton (Zionsville, PA/Allentown Central Catholic HS) toe the rubber for the Falcons.  Clayton would last just 2/3 of an inning before handing the ball over to Alexis Baxter (Clifton Springs, NY/Phelps-Clifton Springs) who would pitch the remainder of the game.  In 3.1 innings, Baxter would finish with one strikeout.

Offensively for the Falcons, Javara Troupe (Tampa, FL/Tampa Bay Tech), Shannon Wenner (Drums, PA/MMI Preparatory), Kali Jones (Pottsville, PA/Pottsville Area HS), and Ciara Lane (Northampton, PA/Northampton Area) all finished with hits, with Wenner accounting for the only Falcon extra base hit.  Troupe and Jones would both collect stolen bases.

Game two for the Falcons would see a better offensive showing.  The Falcons would score seven runs on 10 hits.  Game one's starter Ericka Clayton (Zionsville, PA/Allentown Central Catholic HS) would go 3-3 with a walk and two runs scored, while Alexis Baxter (Clifton Springs, NY/Phelps-Clifton Springs) would lead the Falcons in RBI's with four, while Troupe, and Jones would all finish with multiple hits, while Ciara Lane (Northampton, PA/Northampton Area) would finish 1-3 with an RBI and walk.  Wenner, Troupe and Wenner all scored two runs a piece, while newcomer Maggie Olock (Bethlehem, PA/Liberty High School) would finish with a walk and run scored.

On the mound Baxter and Wenner would team up to go 5 innings, while striking out one and forcing six fly outs and seven ground outs.

The Falcons fell to 0-10 overall and Saturday's game against Marywood has been moved to Sunday, game time set for 12:30 PM.
