With the recent weather, the Keystone Giants and Cedar Crest Falcons conference softball double-header which was originally scheduled to be a game at Keystone this afternoon, was moved to Cedar Crest College due to unplayable field conditions in La Plume.
As a team in game one the Falcons tallied five hits with senior
Shannon Wenner (Drums, PA/MMI Preparatory) collecting two of those hits.
Ericka Clayton (Zionsville, PA/Allentown Central Catholic HS),
Rachel Stump (Fleetwood, PA/Fleetwood) and
Kali Jones (Pottsville, PA/Pottsville Area HS) would also add a hit each with Jones adding an RBI in the bottom of the third to put the Falcons on the board scoring senior
Tammy Touhsaent (Mertztown, PA/Kutztown Area).
Touhsaent would also finish with one walk.
On the mound, Erica Clayton went the distance walking just one while forcing nine flyouts and four ground outs.

In game two, the Falcons would once again tally five hits with Stump,
Ciara Lane (Northampton, PA/Northampton Area),
Rakia Otoo (Bronx, NY/Manhattan Center for Science & Math) and
Javara Troupe (Tampa, FL/Tampa Bay Tech) each collecting hits. Troupe would lead the Falcons in game two, going 2 for 3.
On the mound, Clayton once again got the start going 2 strong innings allowing just one hit and striking out one while forcing five flyouts.
Alexis Baxter (Clifton Springs, NY/Phelps-Clifton Springs) would pitch the final five innings all four earned runs and forcing five fly outs and four ground outs.
The Falcons will wrap up their season on Saturday as they host the Cyclones of Centenary at 12:30 at the Cynthia L. Blaschak Field. It will also be Senior Day at Cedar Crest on Saturday.
