The Mighty Macs overpowered the Falcons by scoring 8 goals in the first half until Viviana Samite would cause a turnover so that the Falcons could stay steady on the offensive end. Senor Amber Wehry (Klingerstown, PA/Tri-Valley Jr/Sr) gained a free position shot and scored on the Mighty Macs goalkeeper at 17:04 in the first half. Emily Rodenberger (Pennsburg, PA/Upper Perkiomen High School) controlled the draw to allow Samite to pick up a loose ball and score again for the Falcons at 16:42. With an upbeat tempo, the Falcons continue making full field transitions from the defensive to offensive end as Krysten Gillan (Maple Shade, NJ/Maple Shade H.S.) caused a turnover and passed to goalkeeper Nicole Rivera (Bronx, NY/Eximius High School) for a clear. Rivera was able to hit Samite on a successful clear and drove the ball to hit net for her second goal this game.
With the Mighty Macs in the lead, the Falcons moved toward the attacking end right away as Amy Frey (Hellertown, PA/Saucon Valley) gained possession of the draw. A foul against the Mighty Macs allowed Samite to hit the back of the cage again on a free position shot at 29:16. Communication was a key point toward the end of the game as the Falcons continued to play intelligent defense to hold the Mighty Macs at bay. Goalkeeper Rivera would record 10 saves.
