QUAKERTOWN, Pa.---The Cedar Crest College tennis changed venues for their Colonial States Athletic Conference match against Summit University as they went indoors. With the potential of pending weather on its way the Falcons went to The Tennis Zone in Quakertown, Pa. to earn their fifth win, 7-2.
In doubles action the Falcons would take two points, the freshman duo,
Kristina Litonjua (Easton, Pa./Easton Area High School) and Stephanie
Zuravnsky earned the first points of the match with a score of 8-1. Senior
Kyleen Sisson (Laceyville, PA/Elk Lake) and sophomore
Taylor Doran earned a victory as well defeating their opponent 8-4.
In singles,
Litonjua won by scores of 6-0, 6-1 as
Sisson followed up with a 6-2, 6-2 win.
Doran added to the win streak with a scores of 6-2, 6-1 while junior
Jaime Wojciechowski finished with scores of 6-2, 6-4. In an eight game pro set
Zuravnsky earned another victory for the Falcons with a score of 8-0.
The Falcons next match is Saturday, October 10 at 1:00 p.m. against CSAC opponent Notre Dame of Maryland University.
