BRONXVILLE, N.Y.--- The Cedar Crest College tennis team fell 7-2 against non-conference Sarah Lawrence College Tuesday Night.
The Black and Gold trailed their opponents 3-0 after dropping all three doubles matches with an identical score of 8-2. For singles, the teams would play pro sets. Number four player and lone senior on the team,
Kyleen Sisson (Laceyville, PA/Elk Lake), would remain undefeated as she would finish with a score of 8-2 over the gryphons. Junior
Jamie Wojeciechowki, at the number one spot, earned her first win of the season as she defeated the her opponent, 9-7. Junior
Emily Bryk (Whitehall, PA/Whitehall) and Sophmore
Taylor Doran (Petaluma, CA/Casa Grande) were each able to earn three games off their opponents, but at the end the score favored the gryphons.
The Falcons will take the courts again on Thursday, September 17, as they host Colonial State Athletic Conference foe Cairn University to finish their match which was postponed due to rain Saturday. The match is set to start at 3:30.
