IMMACULATA, Pa.---The Cedar Crest College tennis team fell to Immaculata University, 9-0, Friday afternoon in a Colonial States Athletic Conference match.
In doubles action, sophomore
Taylor Doran (Petaluma, CA/Casa Grande) and senior
Kyleen Sisson (Laceyville, PA/Elk Lake) finished first in second doubles falling 8-1. Junior
Jamie Wojciechowski (Archbald, PA/Valley View) and junior
Emily Bryk (Whitehall, PA/Whitehall) finished second in the number one slot with a score of 8-3 and freshman
Kristina Litonjua and
Stephanie Zuravnsky would fall by a score of 8-4.
In singles action
Wojciechowski finished with scores of 6-0, 6-2 at first singles, and
Sisson finished second by scores of 6-0, 6-0. Freshman
Marie Spuches took the sixth singles spot falling 6-0, 6-0 while
Doran finished next by scores of 6-1, 6-1.
Bryk finished with scores of 6-1, 6-1 as
Litonjua finished by 6-4, 6-0.
The Falcons will get back on the courts on Tuesday, September 29 when Cedar Crest takes on non-conference Alvernia University
