CENTER VALLEY, Pa.---The Cedar Crest College tennis team traveled a short distance to play DeSales University in a non-conference match falling, 5-1, on a rainy Wednesday afternoon.

In doubles action, sophomore Kristina Litonjua (Easton, Pa./Easton Area High School) and Alyssa Epsaro (Bethlehem, Pa./Liberty) defeated their opponent 9-7 in the second double spot. Litonjua won her first set 6-2, but was unable to finish due to rain while junior Taylor Doran (Petaluma, CA/Casa Grande) also won her first set in a close 6-4 match before her match was called due to weather. Epsaro fought in a tough match in the fourth spot falling 6-3 before the inclement weather forced the set to end early.

The next match for the Falcons is on Friday, September 30 at 3:30 p.m. at Colonial States Athletic Conference opponent Cairn University.
