MEDIA, Pa.---The Cedar Crest College tennis team suffered its first loss in an extremely close match to non-conference Penn State Brandywine, 5-4, Thursday afternoon.

In doubles action, sophomore Kristina Litonjua (Easton, Pa./Easton Area High School) and freshman Alyssa Epsaro (Bethlehem, Pa./Liberty) picked up the first points for the Falcons defeating their opponent 8-4 in the second doubles position. In singles play senior Jamie Wojciechowski (Archbald, PA/Valley View) defeated her opponent 8-6 while junior Taylor Doran (Petaluma, CA/Casa Grande) won 8-3 in the No. 2 spot. Earning the final point for Cedar Crest was freshman Victoria Vedage () who won 8-1 in sixth singles.

The next match for the Black and Yellow is on Tuesday, September 13 at 4:00 p.m. as they travel to Colonial States Athletic Conference opponent Marywood University.
