Box Score ASTON, Pa.--- The Cedar Crest College lacrosse team traveled to Colonial States Athletic Conference foe Neumann University on Saturday morning. The Falcons fell to the Knights by a score of 16- 4.
Senior midfielder Lauren Felix (Allentown, Pa./Saucon Valley) took the first shot for the Falcons, a free position shot two minutes into the game that was saved by the goalkeeper. Trying to get the first goal and cut a 4-0 lead, senior midfielder Regina Gill (Hellertown, Pa./Saucon Valley ) took her first shot, again saved by the goalkeeper. Gill got her second attempt, this time a free position shot that was blasted by the keeper to get a point on the board before halftime.
Gill got another shot off in the sixth minute of the second half, the shot came up short as the goalkeeper made the save. Felix won the draw control and took it right to goal, scoring the second goal of the day. Gill was awarded another free position shot that she made the most of scoring her second goal of the game. Sophomore attack Alexandra Zoda (Poughkeepsie, N.Y. /Roy C Ketcham Senior ) scored the fourth goal for the Falcons with a free position shot. Gill looked to tally another goal but her shot went just wide. Felix also looking to notch another goal had the last shot of the game for the team as the shot saved by the keeper.
Cedar Crest has their final game of the season on Tuesday, April 25 with the game starting at 4:00 p.m. at CSAC opponent Rosemont College.
