Lacrosse Finishes Season at Rosemont

Box Score ROSEMONT, Pa.--- The Cedar Crest College lacrosse team capped their season off with a loss at Colonial States Athletic Conference opponent Rosemont College on Tuesday afternoon. The Falcons fell to the Ravens by a score of 12-10 on a dreary afternoon.
 
Senior midfielder Lauren Felix (Allentown, Pa./Saucon Valley) notched the first goal for the Falcons to tie the game at one after winning the draw control and going right to goal with it. Felix picked up her 11th goal of the year after picking up a ground ball, passing the defenders first than finding the back of the goal past the goalkeeper to again tie the game, this time at 2-2. The Falcons had three more shots before the half, first up was Felix, second by sophomore defender Ta-Tionnah Curtis (Newark, N.J./University) and the final by freshman attack Theresa Neumann (West Point, N.Y./James I. O'Neill) all three shots were stopped by the keeper as the team trailed 4-2 at halftime.

Four quick goals for the Ravens put the Falcons behind 8-2 before the team was able to connect for their next goal by senior midfielder Regina Gill (Hellertown, Pa./Saucon Valley ) who scored her 17 goal of the year. Gill scored her second goal of the game just over a minute later while Felix scored her third goal of the day less than a minute later to make the score 8-5.

Gill scored her 19th goal to cut the lead to three, trailing 9-6, she later scored her 20th as the team was still slightly behind, 11-7. Sophomore attack Shelby Szoke (White Haven, Pa./Crestwood ) netted the next goal for Cedar Crest, after winning the draw control she went right to goal, 12-8. Gill scored the next goal after picking up the rebound on a saved shot by Neumann making it 12-9 with 39 seconds left to play. Felix scored the final goal with just three second left in the game for a final of 12-10.
