ALLENTOWN, Pa.. --- The Cedar Crest College Tennis team earned their third win of the 2017-18 season, putting the Falcons at 3-3 on the year and 2-0 in CSAC action after defeating Cabrini University 5-4, Saturday afternoon.

In doubles action, the Black and Yellow took two out of three points, with senior Taylor Doran and junior Kristina Litonjua dropping 1st doubles, junior Beth Kistler and sophomore Alyssa Epsaro defeated the Cavaliers 2nd doubles. Grabbing the 3rd doubles point was freshman Katherine Naples and senior Myeisha Harris to put that Falcons up 2-1 after the doubles flight.

Doran fell in 1st singles (6-2, 6-1) to even up the match at  2-2, then Epsaro took down her opponent in the 4th spot, (6-1), (6-2). Kistler claimed her point after (6-2), (6-1) victory while Naples would be defeated by the Cavalier in the 4th spot. Litonjua battled in 2nd singles where it went to a third set, before ultimately falling to tie the match at 4-4 with sophomore Andrea Abdale playing in 6th singles .Abdale would solidify the Falcons victory, defeating her opponent (6-0, 6-1) to give the Falcons the 5-4 win over Cabrini.

The Falcons will return to action on Tuesday, March 27 at 3:30 PM as they host CSAC opponent Clarks Summit University in Allentown, Pa.
