Box Score ALLENTOWN, Pa. --- The Cedar Crest College Lacrosse squad was defeated by the Centenary University Cyclones, 16-5, in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action Monday evening. The Falcons fall to 0-9 on the year and 0-7 in the CSAC.
Freshman midfielder
Allison Churchill (West Deptford, N.J./West Deptford) led the Falcons in scoring, netting two goals, putting her at three on the season. Sophomores
Theresa Neumann (West Point, N.Y./James I. O'Neill) and
Isabella Savino (Middletown, Del./Middletown) each scored goals for the Black and Yellow, giving
Neumann her fourth of the season and
Savino her third. Also finding the net in the contest was freshman attacker
Asia Adams (York, Pa./Red Lion Area Senior), who also scored her third goal of the year.
Freshman goalie
Alexandria Marcou (Colchester, Verm./Colchester) played all 60 minutes in goal and earned the loss, saving a season-high 17 shots of the 33 shots on goal.
Marcou is now 0-5 in goal after tonight's decision.
The Falcons took 14 total shots in the contest with 11 on goal, while Centenary fired 41 shots with 33 being on goal. Cedar Crest picked up 33 groundballs and eight draw controls, while the Cyclones had 38 groundballs and 15 draw controls.
The Falcons will host Lancaster Bible College in a non-conference contest on Wednesday, April 18 at the FalconPlex. The game versus the Charger was originally scheduled for March 20
th and was moved due to weather. The game is set to begin at 7 PM.
