Falcons score twice in loss to Juniata

Box Score HUNTINGDON, Pa. --- The Cedar Crest College Lacrosse team fell to Juniata College, 2-19, on Sunday afternoon to put the Falcons at 0-2 this season.
 
Cedar Crest's two second half goals were scored by juniors Theresa Neumann (West Point, N.Y./James I. O'Neill) and Isabella Savino (Middletown, Del./Middletown), each scoring their first goals of the 2019 season. Savino's goal was scored just 42-seconds into the second half as Neumann netted her goal with 30-seconds remaining.
 
Starting in goal for the Black and Yellow was sophomore Allison Churchill (West Deptford, N.J./West Deptford), making six saves on 25 shots faced. Churchill earned the loss and is not 0-2 on the year.
 
The Falcons took eight shots, six going on the keeper, picked up 15 ground balls and had seven successful clears in the game.
 
Cedar Crest will get back to action on Wednesday, March 20 when they travel to Bryn Mawr College to take on the Owls. First-whistle is scheduled for 4:45 PM on Applebee Field.
