Box Score WASHINGTON, D.C. --- The Cedar Crest College Tennis program earned its first win of 2019, defeating Trinity College 9-0 on Saturday afternoon.

In doubles play, all three pairs earned a point, sweeping each set 8-0.Â
Alyssa Epsaro (Bethlehem, Pa./Liberty) and
Mercedes Melo (Lehighton, Pa./Palmerton Area) took the point for first doubles,
Andrea Abdale (Philadelphia, Pa./Northeast ) and
Chelsea Tito (Wilmington, Del./Alexis I. DuPont) claimed second doubles and
Ashley Wilkins (Rochester, N.H./Spaulding) and
Katherine Naples (Eau Claire, Wis./Eau Claire North) won the third doubles match.

Melo would win both sets 6-0 at first singles, followed by
Epsaro finishing second and also taking her opponent in straight sets, 6-0 at second singles.
Telena Jones (Scranton, Pa./Scranton), playing at six singles, defeating the opposition 6-0 in both sets, then
Maya Narasimhan (Scotch Plains, N.J./Scotch Plains Fanwood) finished her match at third singles, winning 6-1, 6-0.
Delaney Robbins (East Stroudsburg, Pa./East Stroudsburg South) would earn her point at fifth singles, winning 6-0, 6-0 and
Keely Shellhamer (Birdsboro, Pa./Daniel Boone) rounded out the day for the Falcons, as she defeated her opponent at fourth singles, 6-0, 6-1 to give Cedar Crest the 9-0 victory.

Cedar Crest will get back to action on Saturday, March 23 when they host Gwynedd Mercy University on the Falcon Tennis Courts beginning at 1:00 PM.
