RADNOR, Pa. --- The Cedar Crest College Softball team dropped a pair of non-conference contests at Cabrini University on Thursday evening. The Falcons fall to 11-18 after the 1-6 loss in Game 1 and defeated 3-4 in Game 2.

In Game 1, the Cavaliers scored one in the first and one in third to take a 0-2 lead after three innings of play. The Black and Yellow would get one back with a sacrifice fly to right field, putting the score at 1-2. Cabrini would add one more in the fifth and tacked on three runs in the sixth to reach the final score of 1-6.

Freshman
Skyler Bilous (Schnecksville, Pa./Parkland) recorded a multi-hit game, going 2-for-4, and three other Falcons reached base safely for a total of five hits, including senior
Aimee Sarboukh (South Bound Brook, N.J./Bound Brook), junior
Dallas Horning (Bethlehem, Pa./Liberty) and sophomore
Patricia Dalton (Northampton, Pa./Northampton Area).
Horning scored the lone-run off of freshman
Delaney VanBuskirk's (Bridgeville, Del./Woodbridge) sacrifice fly in the fourth inning.

Junior
Breanna Young (Easton, Pa./Wilson Area) started in the circle in Game 1, pitching a complete game (6.0 innings).
Young faced 31 batters in the game, allowing 12 hits, six earned runs and struck out three batters.
Young would be dealt the loss, dropping her record to 4-8 this season.

Cedar Crest got on the board first in Game 2, scoring one in the second and two in the third to take a 3-0 lead over the Cabrini. The Cavaliers would cut into the lead, scoring one in the bottom half of the third, moving the score to 3-1 in favor of the Black and Yellow. Cabrini would add another in the sixth and delivered a game-winning single in the bottom of the seventh to defeat the Falcons 3-4.

Bilous turned in another two-hit performance in Game 2, hitting a double and scoring a run as well for the Falcons.
VanBuskirk went 2-for-3 in the game and also touched home plate for a run. Junior
Nicole Santaniello (Kissimmee, Fl./Osceola), sophomore
Danielle Krispin (Tunkhannock, Pa./Tunkhannock) and
Dalton each drove in RBIs in game two and record one hit apiece.
Sarboukh was the other Falcon to get a base-hit, totaling eight hits in the game.

Earning the start in Game 2 was
Bilous, who threw for 6.1 innings and faced 32 batters in the contest. She would allow four runs, three earned, on nine hits and struck out one batter.
Bilous received the loss and her record falls to 6-6.

The Falcons will hit the road again, traveling to Chambersburg for a Colonial States Athletic Conference doubleheader with Wilson College. Game 1 is set to begin at 2:00 PM.
