ALLENTOWN, Pa. – A pair of Cedar Crest College soccer student-athletes were honored by the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) on Monday afternoon.
Junior
Lauren Makely (Lake Grove, N.Y./Sachem North) was named CSAC Defensive Player of the Week while graduate student
Adrianna Tennis (Pine Grove, Pa./Pine Grove) was selected to the Weekly Honor Roll. The duo helped the Falcons to a 2-0 week.
Makely had back-to-back shutouts last week, with victories over Centenary and Keystone. She registered nine saves in the win over the Cyclones and had a clean sheet in a win over the Giants.
Tennis had three points last week on one goal and one assist. She registered the assist in a 1-0 victory over Centenary and picked up her team-leading sixth goal of the season in a 4-0 victory over Keystone.
Cedar Crest (7-0-1 overall, 2-0-0 CSAC) next hosts Bryn Athyn College on Tuesday, October 5 at 6:00 p.m.
