INDIVIDUAL RESULTS | TEAM RESULTS
LEBANON, Pa. – The Cedar Crest College cross country team competed in the Dutchmen Invitational hosted by Lebanon Valley College at Union Canal Tunnel Park on Saturday morning.
Cedar Crest finished 15th overall out of the 16 schools that registered scores, with a total score of 364 points.
Eight Falcons recorded time in the race, with freshman
Jonquil Loeffelholz (Bellingham, Wash./Sehome) crossing the finish line first for the Black and Yellow, placing 53
rd overall in a time of 21:53. Finishing just over a minute later was Cedar Crest's number two runner in junior
Emily Kern (Nazareth, Pa./Nazareth Area), who finished in 70
th. Sophomore
Lillie Jones (Wilmington, Del./DelCastle Technical) placed 76
th in a time of 24:24 and placed 76th overall. Junior
Saige Sterner (Jim Thorpe, Pa./Jim Thorpe Area) and sophomore Abbey Diorio placed 82
nd and 83
rd, respectively, and their times were separated by just one second.
Freshman
Jessica Simins (Phillipsburg, N.J./West Morris Central), sophomore
Carolyn Weiss (Long Valley, N.J./West Morris Central), and junior
Christina Alberici (Shelton, Conn./Shelton) rounded out the field for the Falcons, respectively. Â
Cedar Crest will return to the course on September 18 when they participate in the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Preview Meet at McDade Park hosted by Keystone College. The meet is scheduled for 10:00 a.m.Â
