FORTY FORT, Pa. – The Crest Crest College cross country team competed at the Blue & Gold Invitational hosted by Wilkes University on Friday afternoon at the Forty Fort Sports Complex.
Sophomore
Jonquil Loeffelholz (Bellingham, Wash./Sehome) led the way for the Falcons, placing 10
th overall with a time of 26:38.40. Classmate
Jess Simins (Phillipsburg, N.J. /Warren Tech) finished the course in 30:17.50 (32
nd) while junior
Madison Cressley () followed in 38
th with a time of 31:52.00.
Junior
Carolyn Weiss (Long Valley, N.J./West Morris Central) rounded out the Cedar Crest student-athletes in the field, crossing the finish line in 34:16.00.
The event served as the final tune-up before the 2022 Colonial State Athletic Conference (CSAC) Championship Meet, which will be hosted by Bryn Athyn College on Saturday, October 29 at 11:00 a.m.
