BRYN ATHYN, Pa. – The Cedar Crest College cross country team finished fourth at the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Championship Meet, hosted by Bryn Athyn College on Saturday morning.
The University of Valley Forge took the title with 44 points. Cairn finished second with 74 points. The host Lions took third with 79 points. The Falcons tallied 81 points followed by Clarks Summit University with 84 points to close out the top five.
Sophomore Jonquil Loeffelholz finished in third place for Cedar Crest. She completed the 6-kilometer course in 26:11.1. Classmate Jess Simins followed in 12
th place, clocking a time of 29:29.4. Junior Madison Cressley completed the race in 31:17.3, which was 17
th place while classmate Carolyn Weiss crossed the finish line in 18
th (31:43.0).
Seniors Carolina Beverage and Joslyn Schwieterman rounded out the runners in the field for the Falcons.
Cedar Crest will have a week off before concluding its season at the NCAA Division III Metro Region Championships hosted by DeSales University on Saturday, November 12.
