CENTER VALLEY, Pa. – The Cedar Crest College cross country team placed 17
th out of 19 teams at the DeSales University Invitational on Saturday morning.
Sophomore
Jonquil Loeffelholz (Bellingham, Wash./Sehome) finished 90
th with a time of 26:33.20. Classmate
Jess Simins (Phillipsburg, N.J. /Warren Tech) followed behind, clocking a time of 30:38.30 and landed 155
th. Junior Madison
Cressley finished the course in 32:48.10 (169
th). Junior
Carolyn Weiss (Long Valley, N.J./West Morris Central) clocked a time of 33:59.00.
Seniors
Carolina Beverage (Taylor, Pa./Riverside Senior) and
Joslyn Schwieterman (Portland, Maine/Baxter Academy) rounded out the student-athletes in the field for the Falcons.
Cedar Crest will next compete at the Blue & Gold Invitational hosted by Wilkes University on Friday, October 14 at 5:30 p.m.
