Box Score MORRISTOWN, N.J. – The Cedar Crest College tennis team rolled to an 8-1 victory at Saint Elizabeth University on Tuesday afternoon in a Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) match. The Falcons improve to 5-4 overall and 3-0 in league play while the Eagles fall to 0-8 overall and 0-2 in conference action.

The Falcons started the match with a 3-0 sweep of doubles. The first doubles team of senior Maya Narasimhan (Scotch Plains, N.J./Scotch Plains Fanwood) and sophomore Katherine Franzone () defeated senior Lauren Greismyer and sophomore Dayanna Vera by a score of 8-3. Cedar Crest's second doubles pair of junior Sasha Singh (Breinigsville, Pa./Parkland) and sophomore Lily Spagnola (Barnegat, N.J./Barnegat) blanked the Eagle tandem of freshman Keyera Williams and sophomore Francheska France-Cedano, 8-0. The third doubles team of freshman Corinne O'Connor (Bay Shore, N.Y./Bay Shore ) and sophomore Sam Henson (Waterbury, Conn./W.F. Keynor Technical) edged Saint Elizabeth's Khajayah Little and sophomore Stacey Lissade in an 8-6 match to cap off the sweep.

Moving into singles play, all but one match went to three sets. Narasimhan topped Griesmeyer (6-1, 6-1) at the top spot. Franzone was victorious in the No. 2 slot, defeating Vera 6-1 and 6-0. Singh got by Cedano (6-2, 6-4) at the third singles position. Spagnola took down Williams 6-0, 6-4 at No. 4 singles while Henson won at No. 5 by scores of 6-1, 6-0.

The Eagles captured its lone point of the afternoon as Stacey Little edged freshman Corinne O'Connor (Bay Shore, N.Y./Bay Shore ) 6-3, 5-7, 10-5 at the No. 6 singles spot.

Cedar Crest will return to the court with a home match against Clarks Summit University on Thursday, April 14 beginning at 3:30 p.m. Saint Elizabeth with also play on Thursday in a road contest at Bryn Athyn College starting at 4:00 p.m.
