Box Score ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The Cedar Crest College tennis team secured a 7-2 victory over non-conference opponent Penn State Berks on Friday afternoon.

The Falcons got out to a 2-1 lead after doubles play. The first doubles team of senior Maya Narasimhan (Scotch Plains, N.J./Scotch Plains Fanwood) and sophomore Katherine Franzone () won in an 8-3 final. The third doubles pair of junior Bailey Rocker (Milledgeville, Pa.) and sophomore Aaliss Osidele (Brooklyn, N.Y.) edged Cedar Crest sophomore Sam Henson (Waterbury, Conn./W.F. Keynor Technical) and freshman Corinne O'Connor (Bay Shore, N.Y./Bay Shore ), 8-7 (10-6). The other doubles point for the Falcons came at the No. 2 spot with junior Sasha Singh (Breinigsville, Pa./Parkland) and sophomore Lily Spagnola (Barnegat, N.J./Barnegat) coming out on top, 8-7 (10-7).

Cedar Crest would go on to capture five of the six doubles points. Narasimhan defeated King in straight sets at No. 1 (6-4, 6-0). Franzone took home the point at No. 2 over Hetrick by set scores of 6-4, 6-2. Singh was victorious at No. 3, taking down Rocker (6-2, 6-0). Spagnola edged Osidele in two tight sets at No. 4 (7-6, 7-5) while Henson beat Hagenbush 6-3, 2-6, 10-3.

The lone singles point for Penn State Berks came by way of an 8-0 win for Olivares.

Cedar Crest (4-4 overall) will return to the court on Tuesday, April 12 with a road conference match at Saint Elizabeth University. First serve is set for 3:30 p.m. Penn State Berks (2-5 overall) will next play Saturday, April 9 at Lancaster Bible College in a noon tilt.
