Lacrosse Lands Five on CSAC All-Conference Team

ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Five members of the Cedar Crest College lacrosse team were honored by the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) on Wednesday as the league announced its annual awards.

Sophomore goalie Mira Carver (Lebanon, N.J./North Hunterdon) earned a First Team All-Conference nod, freshman Maddie Graham (Clayton, Del./Smyrna) landed on the Second Team and was also the Falcons' selection to the All-Sportsmanship Team, while Emily Schoelier (Newton, N.J./Sussex County Technical), seniors Sydney Heathcott (Newburgh, Ind./Castle) and Madyson Lagano (Elkton, Md./North East) were named All-CSAC Honorable Mention. All awards were determined by a vote of the conference's head coaches.

Carver was the lone goalie who received All-Conference First Team accolades. She played in and started all 10 games for the Falcons, while ranking first in the conference in saves per game (10.40) and second in save percentage (.435). On the season, Carver tallied 104 saves, 22 ground balls, and eight caused turnovers.

Graham landed on the Second Team after an impressive rookie campaign. She started all 10 games and finished with 34 points on 33 goals and one assist. Graham also recorded six free-position goals, six ground balls, six caused turnovers, and 25 draw controls. She had multi-goal efforts in nine of the 10 games season

Schoelier is an Honorable Mention selection after a sophomore season where she started all 10 games and registered 16 points on 15 goals and one assist. Schoelier also had 14 ground balls, seven caused turnovers, and eight draw controls.

Heathcott and Lagano joined Schoelier as an All-CSAC Honorable Mention. Heathcott started all 10 games and registered one assist, 20 ground balls, 17 caused turnovers, and 12 draw controls. She closed her career with 39 caused turnovers, which is tied for third all-time in program history.

Lagano wrapped up her collegiate career with five goals and two assists for seven points on the season. She also racked up 12 ground balls, four caused turnovers, and a team-high 26 draw controls over seven games.

Cedar Crest concluded the season with a 3-7 overall record and a 2-4 mark in the CSAC.
