DALLAS, Pa. – The Cedar Crest College cross country team opened the 2022 season on Thursday night at the Misericordia Invitational. The Falcons only had four runners in the meet and did not record a team score.
Sophomore
Jonquil Loeffelholz (Bellingham, Wash./Sehome) led the pack for the Falcons. She finished the four-kilometer race in 39
th place in a time of 18:22.50. Classmate
Jess Simins (Phillipsburg, N.J. /Warren Tech) followed behind with a time 20:43.70 (62
nd).
Seniors
Carolina Beverage (Taylor, Pa./Riverside Senior) and
Joslyn Schwieterman (Portland, Maine/Baxter Academy) also completed the course for Cedar Crest.
The Falcons will return to the course on Saturday, September 10 when they travel to the Dutchmen Invitational, hosted by Lebanon Valley College. The meet is scheduled for 10:15 a.m.
