Cross Country Runs at Dutchmen Invitational

ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Cedar Crest College cross country team finished 20th at the Dutchmen Invitational hosted by Lebanon Valley College at Union Canal Tunnel Park.

Sophomore Jonquil Loeffelholz (Bellingham, Wash./Sehome) placed 95th with a time of 22:36.20. Classmate Jess Simins (Phillipsburg, N.J. /Warren Tech) followed in 129th with a time of 24:47.20. Junior Carolyn Weiss (Long Valley, N.J./West Morris Central) came in third for the Falcons with a time of 29:00.80. Seniors Carolina Beverage (Taylor, Pa./Riverside Senior) and Joslyn Schwieterman (Portland, Maine/Baxter Academy) closed out the runners in the field for Cedar Crest.

The Falcons will now travel to Bryn Athyn College for the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Preview Meet, which is scheduled to take place on Saturday, September 17 at 10:00 a.m.
