HUNTINGDON VALLEY, Pa. – The Cedar Crest College cross country team placed fifth out of nine teams at the Penn State Abington Invitational on Saturday morning at Lorimer Park.
Sophomore
Jonquil Loeffelholz (Bellingham, Wash./Sehome) paced the Falcons once again, registering a 19
th place finish in a time 30:00.6. Classmate
Jess Simins (Phillipsburg, N.J. /Warren Tech) followed in 31
st with a time of 32:12.1.
Junior
Madison Cressley () was third to cross for the Falcons in 44
th, clocking a time of 34:59.2. Fellow junior
Carolyn Weiss (Long Valley, N.J./West Morris Central) came in four spots later, recording a time of 35:43.1.
Seniors
Carolina Beverage (Taylor, Pa./Riverside Senior) and
Joslyn Schwieterman (Portland, Maine/Baxter Academy) closed out the runners in the field for Cedar Crest.
Cedar Crest will be idle next weekend and will return to action on Saturday, October 8 at the DeSales Invitational.
